Hahahahaa… This is awesome! I love the purple bullet holes. Very creative. :) I only hope that the we can all recognize that we're still coming from the same place, as our outward form changes. Fun fun fun! :)
~C and Siona make good points - there is much for the former Zaadz team to celebrate in this transformation from Zaadz to Gaia, and a seed dies to its old form in order to be released into its new one.
However, Monad's point is a good one – it's wise for a respectful, conscious community to acknowledge the need to grieve the passing of the old form. A name, look, etc. all help to foster bonds and a sense of community, and there was a BIG marketing push to attract people to sign on to what Zaadz was all about (including the name and the Zzzz lingo), the Zaadz culture, and a promotion for Zaadzsters to ambassadors to help build Zaadz.
Conscious grieving is part of, indeed necessary for, conscious and healthy growth into the new form.

Been a member since almost the beginning, and I must say I was a bit bummed out when they changed the name to Gaia, but mostly because Zaadz is such a cool name..hehe..Totally out of touch with the intention here in other words..It is what you make of it..I try to stay beyond attachment and give to Gaia what I want Gaia to be..A big plus is that it is way easier to make people remember the name, people never understood what I said when I said Zaadz, however strange that was to me..
I have seen lately a lot of people being critical to the development, and this is beyond me..What you give is what you get..It is not supposed to be an elitist place, is it?
You said it, P'SAL. This may be a job for for the unoffensive Penis McGee…maybe he can bring back the old yellow page and paint over the buff, obscene yoga ads cluttering up what once felt like a “sacred space” on the web.
